Account Deletion Request

Users can request to delete their account and associated data by contacting our support team via email.

How to Request Account Deletion:

1. Send an email to support@ningo.africa
2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
3. Include your registered email address in the message
4. Optionally, provide a reason for deletion (helps us improve)

We will process your request within 48 hours.

Once confirmed, the account deletion is immediate and irreversible.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently deleted immediately:

• Your account credentials (email and password)
• Your profile information (first name, last name, email address)
• Your avatar selection
• Your language preferences
• Your learning progress and history
• Your points and coins balance
• Your in-app purchase records
• Your learning activity data
• Your community interactions and posts
• Any custom settings or preferences

Data Retention After Deletion

While most data is deleted immediately, we may retain certain data for legal, security, or operational purposes for up to 90 days after account deletion:

Data Retained (up to 90 days):

• Transaction records - Retained for financial compliance and fraud prevention
• Security logs - Retained to prevent abuse and maintain platform security
• Backup data - Retained for system recovery purposes

After 90 Days:

All retained data is permanently deleted from our systems and backups.

Data Deletion Without Account Deletion

Currently, Ningo does not provide a way to delete specific data types without deleting your entire account. If you wish to delete only certain data, please contact our support team at support@ningo.africa with details about which data you'd like removed.
